Ascent Classical Academy recognizes students’ intellectual achievements through academic awards in individual subjects and in overall academic achievement.
Virtue Awards
Each quarter, our faculty nominate their students for Virtue Awards, which are meant to honor and represent the school’s seven core virtues. Students, grades K-11, are nominated based on their demonstration of one or several of these core virtues, and the nominations are read aloud by their teachers and presented with a certificate by the headmaster in front of the entire school. One winner is chosen for each class, and a commemorative pin is awarded.
End of the Year Awards
Towards the end of the year, each grade level assigns various awards including attendance awards, academic achievement awards and virtue and grit awards. For these awards, small momentos of thier achivement are given to each student in an end of the year award ceremony .
