Graduates prepared for college, career, service, and a flourishing life.

The Outcomes of an Ascent Classical Education

Our goal has never been simply to prepare students for the next test. We prepare students for what comes after graduation—equipping them with the knowledge, character, and habits of mind that open doors for a lifetime.

Graduates Who Have Choices

An Ascent Classical graduate leaves with far more than a diploma. They will graduate prepared to pursue selective colleges and universities, military service, trade professions, meaningful careers, mission work, or other purposeful paths.

Students in the Ascent Classical Academy network have consistently earned admission to respected colleges across the country while developing the wisdom and virtue to make thoughtful decisions about their future.

Standardized Testing

At Ascent Classical Academy, standardized testing is never the goal.

Our curriculum is intentionally designed around enduring knowledge, rich literature, mathematical reasoning, scientific inquiry, and the cultivation of wisdom and virtue—not around state testing frameworks.

Ironically, that approach often produces exceptional results.

Students who spend years learning to think carefully, read deeply, write persuasively, and reason logically naturally perform well on college entrance exams and state assessments.

Testing measures only a small portion of what we value—but it provides encouraging evidence that a classical education works.

Our class of 2025 scored consistently higher than the national average. 14% higher SAT scores, 25% higher ACT scores, 10% higher CLT scores than the national average.

Senior Thesis Program

The Senior Thesis is the capstone of a student’s education at Ascent. Each student selects a topic and a meaningful work to study, developing a clear argument about its significance. Rather than a traditional research project, the thesis is a self-directed exploration of something important, enduring, and personally meaningful.
